![]() ![]() It may not run or it may crash, but it will still show up. But even if a plugin doesn’t work with your version of LightWave, it will still show up. Some plug-ins will only work with certain versions. The most recently added plugins will usually be at the bottom of the list. Towards the bottom you’ll see a button called “Additional.” Click on it and it will pop up with all of the tools not found on the interface. Open either Modeler or Layout, click on the Utilities tab at the top of the interface and then look at the buttons on the left side of the screen. They get placed in a menu called “Additional” which can be found in the Utilities tab. LightWave plug-ins don’t automatically get added to the interface. If you’re using LightWave 9 or later, the program will automatically scan for new plugins (like Photoshop does) but you have to enable this function in the Options window (press the ‘o’ key and make sure Autoscan Plugins is checked). If you’re using LightWave 8 or earlier, you will have to manually add the plugins. How are you installing the plug-ins? Are you simply adding them to your Plug-ins folder or are you manually adding them via the Add Plugins command? ![]()
